Chapter 6: First Kill

Kate actually doubted that there would be any animals nearby. After all, she had been screaming so loudly as a cat from the very moment she woke up. Yet, there was not even any sound of them coming out at all.

It was as if everyone was in deep sleep.

Is it the coma because of the rain and lightning

Could it be that everyone would wake up at different time

At this moment, Kate somehow thought about the various types of novels she had read in the past. Even though she was busy with her tasks, she would never ever abandon her hobby of reading novels.

Online novels were the best.

She could read a lot of them, but the waiting time for new chapters was more often than not, a torture.

.....

Anyway, that was not the important point right now. What she needed to make sure was that there was no other monster around her. if there were other animals mutated like that giant ant outside...

Kate looked at her small paw.

She wanted to cry.

In any normal times, she might feel that it didnt matter that much turning into a small cat. After all, the cat was cute. Welp, that didnt seem to be the right state of mind either.

In this situation where the world is changing and gradually turned dangerous, what was the use of being cute She would just end up being stewed or stomped to death with her small stature.

No.

She didnt want to die yet.

Kate took a deep breath and walked towards the row of tables and chairs in front of her.

She actually hoped from the bottom of her heart that there wouldnt be any mutated animal in front of her.

But fate seems to like twisting her hopes.

Thunk!

There was a large lizard lying on top of one of the chairs. It was unknown whether the lizard was on top of the chair before it changed and mutated or it was actually below the table.

Because its body turned big, it was actually squeezed between the table and the chair.

It looked painful.

That large lizard is still sleeping.

Kate looked at the lizard and silently cursed whoever brought that lizard into the classroom. The engineering faculty should be the cleanest one of them all since there was a cleaning robot made by those seniors from robotics group.

She didnt know which kindhearted senior made that robot back then, but it was said that he used the robot for competition. After graduating, the cleaning robot was left behind and used to clean this building after class.

Normally, even ants would be exterminated daily.

But now there was a lizard sneaking in.

If it was not because one of the naughty student taking the lizard in, the lizard might enter because someone opened the window and the lizard sneaked in.

And now...

How should Kate deal with it

Kill the lizard

Kate looked at her small paw.

If she was still in her normal 21 years old body, she would surely step forward and grab something sharp to kill the lizard. She had killed fish and chickens in the kitchen before, so killing a lizard should be okay.

But with her current kitten body that was many times smaller than this large lizard...

How could she kill it

Kate really wanted to pick her phone and posted this question online urgently. How to kill a sleeping giant lizard with a small kitten body

...

After several minutes, Kate calmed down.

The awful twists and turns for the past few minutes seemed to have taken all of her energy. Kate looked at her small paw.

Can her delicate paw kill that giant lizard

Uhm...

If she was not wrong, a cat should have claws, right

Claw, claw, claw....

After checking her four legs , Kate wanted to yell to the Heaven once more. Why did she have no claw
